I gave my final notes to my wonderful narrator, award-winning S.A.G. actress Holly Adams, and the recording of Lenswoman in Love was completed. The audiobook was released on AUDIBLE as of April 22 and is now available through Amazon and Apple.

I spent all day Saturday April 18th at the WPN tent at the L.A. Times Festival of Books and saw some dear old friends and met some lovely new readers. I shared a table with my friend, brilliant thriller-writer Roselyn Teukolsky. (check out her books “A Reluctant Spy” and “The Fourth Woman”
)

Bob Marley High Times session:
In honor of 420, HULU broadcast a series of short documentaries called “4-20 Quick Hits” one of which includes my High Times cover and this shot of my son, Orion, not quite three years old, at the High Times cover session in 1976. (It’s in the second doc about High Times and the alternative press).
Pink Floyd
A fashion company in Italy has created a line of soccer jerseys “inspired” by my shot of Pink Floyd after they had just played soccer with another rock band in the rain in London in 1971. From their press release:
“The set has history, too. Band members David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright actually started their own club, the Pink Floyd Football Club (PFFC), back during the 1970s, where they would play soccer with staffers, roadies and even journalists.
According to the set’s official description, a photograph of the PFFC club taken by photographer Kim Gottlieb-Walker inspired this new collection. The Inter x Pink Floyd capsule collection is out now.”
and this:
“At the center of the collection is a retro football jersey inspired by a photograph captured by Kim Gottlieb-Walker, documenting the Pink Floyd Football Club during its active years. This image provided more than visual reference; it established the conceptual framework for the entire project, anchoring the design in a specific moment rather than a generalized aesthetic.”
